Hello, lovely to meet you.

I’m Samantha, a South Africa–born wedding photographer based in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, photographing weddings across Essex, London and the UK (and happily further afield). I’ve been photographing weddings for over 10 years and still feel incredibly lucky to do what I do, telling real love stories for genuinely lovely people.

My style is natural, relaxed and people-focused. I capture your wedding day as it unfolds, from the big emotional moments to the quiet in-between ones. Couple portraits are a mix of gently guided and candid, always keeping things easy and true to who you are. Guests matter just as much too; it’s rare to have everyone you love in one place, and I make sure those moments don’t go undocumented.

I studied Photography and Visual Communication at The Open Window in South Africa, and photography has taken me across South Africa and the UK. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll usually find me outdoors with my fiancé Simon, hiking, exploring, or planning our next adventure. I’m endlessly curious and love travelling, especially anywhere surrounded by nature, from the Egyptian desert to the salt flats of Utah. I’m also a very proud (and slightly spoiling) aunty.
